Step to the beat of God’s healing and rhythm and respond willingly as He glides you thru’ the tragedies into the victories.

Some of us are grieving over the death of a relationship. You don’t even understand why it died; you are forced to accept something that you cannot explain.

You have replayed the events as a jury reviews the evidence. Accept that your deliberation is after the facts and pointless.

The chance to change the verdict is over. You were an eyewitness to the demise of your relationship, and with it went your friendship.

There were moments of rage that boarded on hatred, and then there were the nights of loneliness and the crazed feeling of lust and longing for the lover who is supposed to be your enemy.

The relationship pined away like a sick person. It lost its vibrancy, then its excitement, until one day you came home and found out it had lost its commitment.

Some of us are grieving over these relationships that crumbled before our eyes.
Perhaps you have been haunted by one of these issues or some other crisis. Have you known what it was like to want someone to rescue you from the pain?? . Well, to save some precious time.

Only the Lord can heal deep pain. It does not matter whether your pain comes from a brutal rape kept secret, a fractured promise never fulfilled, or some other gut-wrenching disturbance. He is the prince of peace and He rides into the worst situation on the wings of hope. His divine hand over you gives sense to the tragic events that seemed meaningless. He knows how to orchestrate your pain and somehow bring a blessing out of a mess.

We must seek the Lord; you can’t play God. You might be independent, but you need to allow God to help you through the night. He alone can mend you. You cannot do this on your own.

Stuck on the steps??

There are demons that must be exorcised, the phantoms and ghosts that must be evicted from the heart of the one who would dare to look life in the face and say, “I will go on!”

That is what you must say if you are going to survive. You must look right into the flaming inferno of hellish situations and declare through parched, lonely, tearstained lips, “I will go on.” Inside every victim there is harsh tenacity and steel will. Courage is born out of crises. Little girl, you have the power. It is you through Christ. It is in you to succeed. No one succeeds without overcoming opposition. Wipe your face, strengthen your back, hold up your head, and survive!

No one can change their yesterdays, no matter how terrible they may have been. Update your life. This is now, not then. I pray for your courage to endure what you cannot change. Completely remodel the things that you can, and tell the rest of it to go play in traffic!

Did I miss a thing?

My heart is pumping like the traditionally dancers drums
My sweat glands have been let free
My eyes are red, from the salty water flowing down my face
My legs are tired
I take some few breath stops
But the distance is far much worrying
Going back is not an option at this moment
I have lost touch of my body
Two sips of water will do me great favor
But keeping on, I must keep on
Getting close,
I see your yellow barracuda
Once a happy ride, memories flow back
I see your Mercury Montego
Reminisce, the day we got married.
Getting close
How ago we used to lie on the floor for hours
Phones cradled between shoulders and ears
Twirling the cord between our fingers
How we talked and recognized the language of our realm
Getting close
Good old memories are best set for the museum’s update
Getting close, almost there, I see your face
How short a time your handsome face has aged
What a pity,
I see the pain in your eyes
Reminisce the time, energy and mind time we gave?
Why did it have to prove us soo wrong?
I said, I wanted a little time,
Now I want eternity time
With a slip of the ring from my finger
And before I take another turn of life
Before you mouth the same old words
Correct me if you must,
But did I miss a thing?

A Christmas WIsh.

I'd like a stocking made for a giant,
And a meeting house full of toys,
Then I'd go out in a happy hunt
For the poor little girls and boys;
Up the street and down the street,
And across and over the town,
I'd search and find them everyone,
Before the sun went down.

Moment in Time

We talked,
We walked,
for a Moment in Time.

You passed through my life that day and left your mark.
You may never pass my way again,
Or you may stay for a lifetime.

No matter what,
I want to say thank you for the impression you made
that will stay with me for eternity.

I enjoyed the walk,
I enjoyed the talk.
I am blessed for that moment in time.

The first time I saw you I knew you would affect my life,
though your role I did not know.
I asked myself, "Why is he alone?
Why does he sit so quiet, all alone?
Is he sad?
Is he glad to be alone?
Is he alone?
Is he lonely? "
There is so much I want to know.

I asked myself, "Why him?
When so many people pass through my life each day,
why him? "

What attracts me to you?
What makes me want to know more?
I want to know.

Even if my questions are never answered,
There is one thing I want you to know.
I have been blessed by the effect you had on me in that
Moment in Time.

Don't get it twisted, True Love really exists.

The very first time, I saw ‘it’ in his eyes
I felt ‘it’ in his embrace
I sank into the living sea of waking dreams
As the hope of ever finding ‘it’ reawakened
He told me he loved me
How many times passed had I heard that word
How many times did I seldom hope in them
And after so many, tears in joy, pain & suffering
He reawakened the Dead Sea
With the pureness, sincerity in his voice
He told me he loved me
For the first time, I saw ‘it’ in someone’s eyes
He told me he loved me
Not b’coz I aint big enough to fit the African woman’s figure description
Not b’coz i aint small enough to fit into a model’s size
But coz in me, he says, he finds a true woman
I don’t have to dress skimpily to impress him
Pop out my two melons
Wear low-belt jeans, the thong and butt out showing business
For he says, he loves me just the way I am
The daily calls, hourly check –ups are just but
Reminders of my inner beauty,
Reminders of my pure love
Indeed in him I have seen a true man
My sexiness does not offend him
My sassiness does not upset him
With him I walk as if I got oil wells
Pumping in my living room
For the first time in life I openly declare
Along life’s journey
I met, he met, we met and we found ‘it’
So don’t get it twisted
True love really exists.

My own Shakespeare

While some things remain unclear, I am my own Shakespeare,

Set forth in a new and profound direction to which this and other chapters of my life are To be written. For each man and woman are responsible for writing his or her own destiny.

The pages in which have already been written cannot be read upon with regret, resentment or distain towards the experiences throughout which history has been passed.
Rather, read upon them as reminder to the newfound paths to which will be traveled, the lessons we have learned, the lessons in which we will teach, those we have met along the way, the legacies passed on.

For life begins and ends with a single breath and all too often reminds all just how short this thing we call life really is.

Hope

When all about you is black with gloom,
And all you feel is pending doom.
When your bones are racked with grim despair -
When every breath is a gasp for air.
Keep on going, though you need to grope,
For around the bend is a ray of hope.

A ray of hope is perhaps all that's left,
As your will to live has been bereft.
You've lost it all, it's just no use!
You can end it all, you need no excuse.
But throw away that piece of rope,
And give yourself a chance of hope.

Just give yourself another day,
Brushing aside what your thoughts may say.
This is your life and you can make a new start,
By ignoring the brain - just follow the heart.
Taking baby steps in order to cope,
And minute by minute you'll build on your hope.

Build on your hope,. one day at a time,
Though the road be steep and hard to climb.
The hurts of the past - they should be dead.
The fears of the future are all in your head.
Just live in the present and refuse to mope
Your life will sparkle for you're living in hope.

let me try

If i try to reach inside of my heart
i can find forgiveness, or at least the start
And from that place where i can forgive
is where Hope, and Love, also thrive and live

And with each step that i try to take
and with that chance that my heart might break
Comes so much happiness, and so much strength
which Alone can carry me a fantastic length

For hate and anger will not get me there
and though i say that i just don't care
I can EASILY avoid the pain on which hate feeds
. . . the kind of hurt that No one needs

Just make the move, take that first stride
let go of the thing known as "Foolish Pride"
Maybe then i can start to repair the past
into something strong, that will mend, and last!

though with anger and regrets now
hating you serves me no good
years wasted, you slapped me soo hard
but awake, arise, i must, forget thee i must.

Beauty in ashes

When I am weak you walk over me,

When I am strong you run away,

When I don’t care you feel hurt,

When I am lost you are excited.

When I am beautiful you look for the ugly.

Who shall take me, weak as I am?

Who shall love me, and not the beauty of my youth?

Who shall perceive my ashes and be there for me?

Is there beauty in ashes?

Is there hope for a broken vinyl?

I saw a woman broken for years get whole,

Heard about a man who spoke life to the dry bones,

Met a lady whose smile told me I am special,

Heard of a lady, who gave her last for a man to eat,

All seem to meet this great man, where is he?

There is beauty in my ashes,

Because of my ashes, I am now free to be strong

Due to our strength I can lift you when you trip and fall,

From my ashes, now all vanity is gone.

Because of the ashes, I met my salvation.

I am not perfect, but perfected each day,

I am not strong but he strengthens me.

I am found for my eyes now see the beauty

My ashes have become diamonds, for my life’s values have doubled.

My beauty blossomed, because of the joy of meeting my saviour.

All my Sins Have Evaporated after Salvation

Rest Stops (life's journey)

When our days are packed to the full
When our faith is clouded with doubts
When we feel our journey is nonsense
When we feel we work for nothing
When our life is killed with boredom
Or just let the time pass idly by,
We will walk through life aimlessly
Unless we take rest stops.

Rest stops
Instances when we ponder
We ponder on the journey of our lives
Our success, our failures
Before God, we will bring them all
And let it be lessons learned
Rising from our rest stops
With hearts renewed
With new confidence
We will continue our journey
With a new life, a new beginning.

When we are tired
Lets take our rest stops
And rise again, continue the journey
A life change for the better
A journey change forever.

My deep song of Strength

I’m sorry I can’t be as deep as you
My eyes don’t see things the way you do
I try not to have the sadness in my life
That from my story might carry
Yes my life is not perfect

For being wronged has me made strong
So I carry on, I will speak my song
I will never change the way I am
My song speaks volumes of who I am
I am mentally strong more than most

I dare you to coast the roads I’ve tread
Some of you would surely have fled
My mind has been battered and beaten
But not out
Sharp as I tack it remains
In a battle of wits with me

You had better bring brains
This song it speaks of sweetness
Beyond mushy, love never pushy
And some one who truly hopes to gain
An inner understanding of you and why you came

My song tells you I been through it too
The heartache and the pain
Shame I thought I would never end
Until life brought me some true blue friends

This song also tell you
I see humor in all things death and life
Strife is part of life
Things were not meant to be easy

This song tell you I’m cheesy
I’m a good and a prank
I’m a total smart ass think tank

I try loving everyone and try to offend none
The things I say and talk about
I have been through myself
So the next time you judge me
Look at yourself
This is not perfect, but it is my song

Letter to my captor

When I was roving the earth with no bearing,

I met you; gave up my choice to be your captive,

I had no hope for peace and love ever again.

You are my captor but I lived in freedom,

My heart burst with joy and giggles from the love you showered me.

I thought love was lost but then I met true love in you,

Love that sticks when there is so much pain,

Love that stays when there seems to be no hope.

Love that has broken my tenderness and given me muscle to defend it,

Love that has removed the sensitivity of a brat and brought sensitivity of a lover,

You hold me captive with the sweet aura of your beautiful smile,

Touch my heart with you tender cuddle.

Flashes of your face, a daily reminder of your sweet smile,

I am a captive to your sweet love; freedom I seek not for this is sweet love.

Though there are no chains I am not running because your love is bond I love.

I give the keys to my all so that you run it,

I feel free falling because your love has me in a trance,

Trance for you have been patient when you tripped with anger,

Patient when all your senses told you scream.
