While some things remain unclear, I am my own Shakespeare,
Set forth in a new and profound direction to which this and other chapters of my life are To be written. For each man and woman are responsible for writing his or her own destiny.
The pages in which have already been written cannot be read upon with regret, resentment or distain towards the experiences throughout which history has been passed.
Rather, read upon them as reminder to the newfound paths to which will be traveled, the lessons we have learned, the lessons in which we will teach, those we have met along the way, the legacies passed on.
For life begins and ends with a single breath and all too often reminds all just how short this thing we call life really is.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. No legacy is so rich as honesty. Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.

Hope
When all about you is black with gloom,
And all you feel is pending doom.
When your bones are racked with grim despair -
When every breath is a gasp for air.
Keep on going, though you need to grope,
For around the bend is a ray of hope.
A ray of hope is perhaps all that's left,
As your will to live has been bereft.
You've lost it all, it's just no use!
You can end it all, you need no excuse.
But throw away that piece of rope,
And give yourself a chance of hope.
Just give yourself another day,
Brushing aside what your thoughts may say.
This is your life and you can make a new start,
By ignoring the brain - just follow the heart.
Taking baby steps in order to cope,
And minute by minute you'll build on your hope.
Build on your hope,. one day at a time,
Though the road be steep and hard to climb.
The hurts of the past - they should be dead.
The fears of the future are all in your head.
Just live in the present and refuse to mope
Your life will sparkle for you're living in hope.
And all you feel is pending doom.
When your bones are racked with grim despair -
When every breath is a gasp for air.
Keep on going, though you need to grope,
For around the bend is a ray of hope.
A ray of hope is perhaps all that's left,
As your will to live has been bereft.

Your life will sparkle for you're living in hope.

let me try
If i try to reach inside of my heart
i can find forgiveness, or at least the start
And from that place where i can forgive
is where Hope, and Love, also thrive and live
And with each step that i try to take
and with that chance that my heart might break
Comes so much happiness, and so much strength
which Alone can carry me a fantastic length
For hate and anger will not get me there
and though i say that i just don't care
I can EASILY avoid the pain on which hate feeds
. . . the kind of hurt that No one needs
Just make the move, take that first stride
let go of the thing known as "Foolish Pride"
Maybe then i can start to repair the past
into something strong, that will mend, and last!
though with anger and regrets now
hating you serves me no good
years wasted, you slapped me soo hard
but awake, arise, i must, forget thee i must.
i can find forgiveness, or at least the start
And from that place where i can forgive
is where Hope, and Love, also thrive and live
And with each step that i try to take
and with that chance that my heart might break
